I've Always Wanted To . . .

Let’s be short and sweet here, folks, because I have 2000 words I still have to write in my nanowrimo novel today. So here we go. First, go watch this TED talk. It’s only three minutes long and it’s totally worth it. Then come back here and tell me, what’s something you’ve always wanted to do? I’m not saying you have to commit to trying it out for the next 30 days, I’m just curious to hear what it is. Anything at all.

Here, I’ll start. I have always (or at least, for the last few years) wanted to  learn to draw. There. What’s yours?

  1. I have always wanted to have a garden. A cute little vegetable garden, herb garden, or beautiful floral garden, I’m not picky. I’ve also always wanted to be a hula hoop dancer. Was I only supposed to give one?

  2. I’ve always wanted to learn to play the piano. Thank you, Caitlin, you inspire me to call a piano teacher. Happy Thanksgiving and my love!

  3. Today while entering Yosemite National park I was reminded of something I have always secretly wanted to do. I have always wanted to be a park ranger! Yes, it is true. Every time I enter a National Park I envy the rangers in their little ranger stations and natty green uniforms and hats. They get to live in the Seqouias , at the Grand Canyon, at Zion, etc. How cool is that? I don’t want to know about the mundane and uncool things that must be a part of their jobs. I just want to imagine myself driving a little four-wheeler and conducting campfires for campers. So there you go. That is what I have always wanted to do. Kinda wondering if it’s too late. Hmmm.
